Jose Manuel Aguirre

Jose is a Founder and Managing Partner at Beacon Capital. He has ample Banking experience, having lead Banco Reformador de Guatemala’s corporate and commercial banking divisions. During his tenure at Reformador, Jose lead the acquisition of troubled financial institutions with combined assets of + $1.2 billion dollars and latter co-lead the sale process that resulted in the sale of Grupo Financiero Reformador to Grupo Aval de Colombia. Prior to joining Banco Reformador Jose held several positions at Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment banking division.

Jose earned his MBA from The Wharton School of Business, and his BBA in Finance and BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University.

Luis Miguel Aguirre

Luis is a Founder and Managing Partner at Beacon Capital. Luis has ample experience in portfolio management, having managed a portfolio of +$200 million dollars during his 10 year tenure as head treasurer for Banco Reformador de Guatemala. Luis presided the assets and liabilities and investment committees at the bank and served on the board of directors. He co-lead the sale of Banco Reformador to Grupo Financiero Aval de Colombia. Prior to joining Banco Reformador, Luis worked for The International Bank of Miami and for Bank of America.

Luis holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

Emmely Morales L.

Emmely is a Financial Analyst at Beacon Capital.
Previously, she worked in the Business Analysis Unit at Seguros de Occidente.
Emmely holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Francisco Marroquín University. She also has an academic degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Nacional de Administración de Empresas de Guatemala.

Armando Quan A.

Armando is an Adviser in Beacon Capital supporting the management and development of projects.
Previously, he served as Project Manager of Constructora Nacional, S.A., was also Administrative Financial Manager of Rodio Swissboring and Deputy Administrative Manager of Empagua.
Armando holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, an MBA in Administration with a Specialty in Finance, an MSc in Operations Research and a Master's Degree in Business Economics, all from the Francisco Marroquín University.
